I have always been fascinated by lines and gestures followed by the power they have when interacting with human feelings. I have a background in Japanese and Korean art and my work is guided by a research that follows the relationship between nature and gesture.
The creative process follows a structured preparation with physical exercises and movements. The aim is to rediscover the origin of gestures and the powerful expression of the line.
I am also approaching the idea of finding ways to make art without harming the environment. For instance creating hand made paper to work with. Paper is always been a passion and it is a crucial part of my research. Craft work such as Japanese paper dolls and origami relates to the fluidity of the line. They follow an abstract path visible through the extraordinary elements and materials in which are created.
My pieces are unique and original and always created following the inspiration of the moment therefore each piece is different from the others and cannot be recreated.
I join my creative skills and my passion for oriental art and crafts creating work that represent a bridge between West and East.
