Artist's Statement

"When I am painting my studio is full of energy; the canvas hosts a party, the brushes are Ushers and lead each drop of paint to its' seat; I love being part of such a celebration!"

"With the exception of portraits and commissioned work with specified content; I rarely put paint to canvas knowing what I plan to do. My artwork is from a place deep in my soul, and I know this may sound odd, but I equate painting to breathing; as far as I'm concerned both are necessary for me to not just feel, but be alive!"
