Artist's Statement

My art is a window into my imagination and my way of seeing things. I consider art to be primarily about communication. Whether it is an idea, an emotion, or an image that seemed worth sharing, I put it out there for you. Then, the best moments for me as an artist are when someone sees viewing my works says something to me about what they see in it. Sometimes the ideas are ones I never dreamed another person would share, but they identify immediately with my intent. Other times, they may bring forth something I hadn't quite realized was there myself.
I believe everyone should be able to afford some original art, so I price pieces low. That doesn't devalue them, it is just part of my philosophy of sharing.
