Artist's Statement

I believe we all are born with a talent, sometimes it takes a trauma to realize it. I am a self taught artist, I see the world around me and smile, I am truly blessed. The world is a huge canvas of diversity and color all generously given to us by God. To be able to create a piece of artwork, not only fills my soul with happiness it makes me forget, at least for a moment my physical pain. Most of my paintings are inspired by my place of birth Ecuador, it's my way of keeping my fathers memory alive. I also like o include pugs in my paintings, I love all animals but pugs are my favorite.
