My art is and always has been abstract in nature. Even if there is a suggestion of a landscape or other image it is my hope that the viewer will discover what their imagination creates. There is no right or wrong interpretation, rather when I paint, it is the creative process unfolding for me and I hope the viewers will find themselves in that experience as well.

Painting for me is both a creative struggle and a satisfying experience whose results are their own reward. Sometimes it can be frustrating, but I remind myself to not let the paint push me around, but rather I push the paint around. I believe that I have created an innovative technique that best expresses the beauty and pain that we all experience in different ways. Painting for me is a way to master those feelings and the manifestation of what words cannot express.
