Artist's Statement

I want to carve female figures that are emotional and autobiographical and classical.
My woodcuts are scenes from family life and autobiographical. They also could have universal appeal and touch on other peoples lives experiences.

Biography

I live and work in London UK and India.I went to Brazil in June /July 2011 to do some sculpture and woodcut prints.I recently had an exhibition of drawings and paintings at the Harshada Gallery in Panaji, Goa, India in January 2011.I have just returned from India where I was carving stone.At present I am making sculpture in alabaster and wood and also woodcut prints.
