Artist's Statement

I deconstruct the dream,fairy tales and lullabies; the hidden facet rests within the magnification of the world,of the referents and the accrual of their real presence. Usually my paintings are characterised by expressive figuration and heavily influenced by Art Brut,distorting the trunked body by exploring existential question and beyond the dreams. I am trying to break down the cultural isssues finding a way of escaping from worshiping the technology which only brain washes us.
