Artist's Statement

Dores Sacquegna is a multimedia artist and art curator. Her vision as an artist has allowed her to conceive contemporary art in a transversal way, showing works with a visionary cliché and at the same time, rooted in reality of her time. This website is an archive of her work from 1984 to today. The themes of her works (and also of many art exhibitions) challenge reality and enter the magic of an imaginative elsewhere, where vision and narration become part of an indivisible process. In these pages, a section is also dedicated to her curatorial biography. She is the author and director of famous blockbuster exhibitions, innovative formats that have conveyed contemporary art beyond national borders.
