From my early age my favorite painter has been, and still is, Claude Monet.
I've always been attratect by impressionists. Van Gogh, Gaugin, Manet, Renoir...
I love the way they captured urban and nature landscapes, my two preferred subjects.
And like them, I want my paintings to transmit an atmosphere. To transport the viewer to another place.

Like Monet in his early works, instinct and spontaneity are my main drivers. I don't look for a model, the model appears to me. When I find a spot that "calls me" I mount my easel and begin to work. I don't prepare it. Sometimes, when it is a complex subject I make a rough pencil sketch to set perspectives and to place the main objects, sometimes I just take the color tubes and begin to paint. It's a natural flow. I work fast, that's why I prefer acrylic to oil.

I like colorful pictures. My art is visual and my paintings attract the eye. I play with opposite colors to obtain the desired effects.

It arrives that I test different techniques and styles. For me painting is pleasure and freedom. I paint what I feel and everything is possible.
