Artist's Statement

I has always been amazed by the energy of his home town, Liverpool and have spent my life enjoying what the city has to offer, and recording his impressions of it through his art.

Johns art work is full of color and contrast. His influences range from Pop-Art to Japanese Culture, but most of all the cities vibrant warmth. John loves walking the streets, building up his impression of what makes the city tick.

Now I have moved away from Liverpool to the elegant market town of Lichfield. I am current building up my work ready for next year. I hope to give Lichfield a twist within my paintings
