Biography of Shant Beudjekian



I was born in 1971 in the city of Beirut, Lebanon where the practice of art became a way of expressing myself and sharing that with the people close to me. Simultaneously, it was in this time period that I discovered that soccer was another passion. After moving to Switzerland in 1984, I gained recognition from the national youth soccer team of under the age of 14 and won many trophies and medals at that time.
In 1995 after moving to California ,San Diego I completed a 4 year Bachelor degree in the area of Fine Arts with a minor in Ceramics at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. I also attended a one year internship at Rhode Island School of Design in Landscape Architecture. Now being back to San Diego I am practicing and creating Art as a full time Artist in the Local Art Communities of Southern California.
