Artist comment about this artwork: "These paintings are a continuation of the Blue Grass Pathways project started in 2008 These three were never completed and over a period of 5 years have periodically been worked on trying to bring them to a conclusion In May this year I was walking the coast path from Wembury to Noss Mayo in South Devon on a beautiful day and the solution presented itself The sky was blue and cloudless the top of the cliffs were a carpet of flowers with a riot of colour everywhere I looked nature was bursting into life I immediately returned to the studio and worked these paintings up and the result is an interpretation of that daywwweddiefordhamcom".
