Artist comment about this artwork: "When the Mustang hit the market there was nothing like it It was perfect for young hip adults and the talk of the new teen sceneToday first generation Mustangs 1965-1973 are highly sought after by classic car enthusiasts The restoration process can be quite tedious and time consuming but rewarding The owner of this 67 Hardtop had this to say about restoring his MustangThat was my retirement therapy It took about 15 years to complete Got a lot of help from Dr Mike Jansen who taught me and tutored me throughout the process He painted it the color of my 02 GT torch red I am real proud of it because I touched nearly all parts of the car cleaning rust off the bolts scraping old paint taking it apart and putting it back together again It is not a 25K show piece but I love to drive it and it does turn peoples heads Rodney LoveSpecial thanks to the owner Rodney Love for permission to photograph his beautifully restored classic".
Art by the Artist Betty Northcutt From Beckville, Texas, United States

Having been born and raised in Northeast Texas, Betty Northcutt is most at home in rural communities and this is where she photographs her favorite subjects. From her home base in Beckville, Texas, she finds that the natural, nostalgic and sometimes rustic environment to be her inspiration.

With future creative projects, she will surely cling to her nostalgia, seeking out subjects representing a slower-pace and "simpler" time, for this is where her passion lies. However, she continues to challenge herself to explore new digital techniques in an effort to invent a unique perspective on her subject matter.
