Art by the Artist DAVID SAMUEL OATLEY From WINCHCOMBE CHELTENHAM, United Kingdom

Hi I was born 1950 which for the time being makes me 64, my pension arrives on Trafalgar day! Somerset born and bred, I went to Wells Cathedral School where I developed a love of art especially water colours. I retired in 2008 due very bad health problems. it was then, I once again took up my art again. Since the I have painted 134 paintings all A3, I have sold many locally. Also nationally. Also to my great pride. I have now broken into the international art scene having sold 20 of my works abroad. I specialise in three areas, Landscapes, and here I am especially lucky I live in one of England's most beautiful areas, the Cotswolds, in Gloucestershire. My second area of interest is painting town and individual town houses and scenes, again the Cotswolds play big part. Finally I paint a few, what I call oddities. I do them for my self, but strangely a lot of visitors to my web site www.oatleyart.com like them.
I will in time up load all my works, firstly all unsold originals, which are also available as prints. Then I will add the remainder of paintings that are sold, which will be available as prints. I do hope you enjoy my gallery, and really hope you enjoy my English countryside and towns enough perhaps to purchase. I am far happier to know a painting is being appreciated, on a wall rather than languishing in my portfolio. Therefore all my prices are very reasonable.
Finally like most artist I do commissions, if that interested you please get in touch.

PLEASE ENJOY
DAVID OATLEY
