Artist comment about this artwork: "This is a creature concept inspired by the discovery of a distant planet which could possibly support life It was drawn using a photo reference on photoshop in 2013 Recently unhappy with the final results I reworked this image changing the antlers and creating a fully realised background".

Aaron Wolf (Awolf, AWolfIllustrations) was born outside of Vancouver, Canada in the early days of 1983. AWolf works prodominently digitally with Photoshop and Illustrator, but includes various hand draw or photographic elements into his work. Since returning to Vancouver a year ago he has undertaken some large, hand drawn, pen and ink illustrations. AWolf completed a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2007. He has been part of group shows in Vancouver, Melbourne and Berlin.
