Art by the Artist CRD Larson

CRD Larson explores art - primarily erotic artwork through acrylic pop paintings and geometric drawings.

An emerging artist in the field of erotica, CRD Larson has shown nude art in solo and group exhibitions in Los Angeles, Portland, Sacramento, and northwest Washington, and will be exhibiting one piece at the 12 Inches of Sin Gallery's "Le Salon Des Refusés Du Péché" 2017 show in Las Vegas. Several of his body positive nudes were published in issue 2 of Plumplandia, a Portland 'zine, and has been interviewed by Cvisuali, the Creative Visual Institute in Mumbai.

Before delving into the world of erotic art, Larson received minor recognition for his environmentally minded art and LP design. In college, CRD Larson won third place in an "Art from Refuse" competition in a small town in the greater Bay Area. Larson created art for and produced the LP/CD for Nymbus (a late 1960s psych/acid trio) in 2011 using several environmentally friendly methods. The Nymbus release utilized industry leading green production methods, such as a digital download card for the Nymbus LP - recycled stock, plant ink, and impregnated with wildflower seeds that will bloom if the card is planted after tracks are downloaded - received the most attention, including a shoutout in the blurb review published in issue 27 of Shindig! To this day, CRD Larson experiments with making art on objects that may in other circumstances be discarded, and when available buys his canvases from secondhand stores.

Beyond art, CRD Larson is a whisk(e)y enthusiast who hasn't been on his skateboard in far too long and is in the process of creating a blog about pizza, his culinary passion.
