Jude Barkley is a self-taught artist. Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada...Jude took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. She would often hide for hours with pencil and pad, doodling the hot summer days away on her Grandpa's farm. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Jude's life would be centered upon her passion for design and art. After raising her daughter, Jude attended LTU in Thousand Oaks, CA where she studied Interior Design. Upon graduation, Jude built a highly successful interior design boutique in Southern California, later expanding that business into Canada. While Jude is a 'late-bloomer' in her painting career...she is no less passionate for her art. Jude can be found in her studio experimenting with many mix-mediums on an endless quest for the ultimate combination of color and texture.
