Art by the Artist Mary Sperling From Birmingham, Michigan, United States

Hello my name is Mary Sperling. My mother was an artist and I grew up painting being supplied with canvas and paint. However, it wasn't until as an adult, my body and strength were severely weakened due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and my artistry exploded. Colors started jumping out at me and captivating my attention. My weakened body enabled a burst of creativity I had not previously experienced. I drew closer to God during this time and He gifted me with this artistry to help me endure and to lift my spirit. I love that viewing my art can help (if even a little) others to have a similar experience. I work in acrylic, oils, and artist marker. Wherever my work is, I experience a lot of interest in it. I've had people ask for my business card even before I had started a business. It's been a wonderful and blessed journey as I continue to create and look toward the future.
