I was born an artist, but I knew from the time I was 15 that I would always be an artist.
I have been a professional artist for over 20 years. I have always had an intense desire to create. I am fortunate and grateful for my life as an artist and making a living doing something I love and have passion for. Besides family, art is the most important part of my life. Thanks to all the wonderful people who have supported and bought my art, my childhood dream has become a reality.
I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my husband, guitarist/composer Aaron Lewis, two dogs and four chickens in a great old house about half a mile from the Rio Grande River. Most mornings you will find us walking our dogs along the Bosque.
I spend my days working in my home studio. I am also an active participant in the Albuquerque artist community. In 2008, my husband and I co founded Chroma Studios, professional working studio spaces for artists and musicians. Going strong in our fourth year, we rent private studios in two different locations here in Albuquerque.
I currently work mainly in oils and sometimes acrylics, but I have worked with a variety of mediums. My current body of work is what I call my Spiral Abstracts, more commonly known as Abstract Expressionism.
